Personality Profile: (Your character's personality, mindset, worldviews, etc.) She's very attractive and is comfortable with others. She does like to be flirty from time to time but its mostly harmless. She loves to game and she loves to draw. She enjoys movies and anime and has a sort of independent political view even though she doesn't vote in this country.

Physical Description: (Feel free to use text, an image, or both.) She is very pretty, easily capable of modeling but never really thinking about doing it. She's curved well and has a wicked pair of deep vibrant blue eyes. Her skin is fair and well kept, she is your typical beautiful young woman.

Powerset: (How would you classify your character's particular set of abilities? Having even a loose theme is more likely to get approved than a random grab bag of powers.) She's an android who thinks she's a mutant, her power set is mostly energy based manipulation.

Ability One: Energy Blasts/Charge. Its a simple blast of energy directed by an open palm or point of a finger for a smaller blast. She'd also sometimes charge her fist if she needed to just punch someone with the energy. Really though it's just a blast that is held until contact is made. Right now its not really strong and she isn't sure how she's doing it, but over time this is something she can develop.

Edit: The power of the blast is capable of lifting a full grown man off the ground and flying in whatever direction he was hit. The blasts power diminishes quickly if she uses an open palm but can go for up to a mile if she focuses and points her finger instead. Comparable to a 16 guage shotgun and .22 rifle.

Ability Two: Energy Shield. She's able to absorb or deflect energy directed her way. Its not terribly strong either as she isn't sure just how it works. Hopeully this will develop over time.

Edit: The shield is capable of blocking a full grown human from plowing into her. Its also capable of slowing most rifle fire (30 - 40 cal and smaller on this list to where her durable skin can repel it from there. Anything larger and she can take serious damage.

Ability Three: Durable. While her entire body is synthetic, her skin, skeleton, and muscles are all sythetic and very durable. Nano weaved skin on the molecular level is soft to the touch being able to take small arms fire. Her skeleton is all nano polymer reinforced carbonite fibers. She won't set off any metal detectors but her structure is extremely solid to nearly a titanium grade. Her muscles are also rather strong but she doesn't lift weights and hasn't really developed them. Over time that is something we could perhaps explore. The idea is she's capable of taking a lot of damage. It hurts but hopefull she'll live long enough to repair/heal over time.

Drawbacks & Weaknesses: Kaylan can over exert herself quite readily right now. More than 4 or 5 large energy discharges and she's done. The same goes for the shield. She can deflect no more than 4 or 5 large impacts and if she's using both at the same time its half. She might get stronger over time but for right now that's her limit. Her function requires her to eat a rather large amount of food as well, when she's unable to find a meal when she needs one she can exhibit symptoms of being hypoglycemic and she will eventually pass out and go into a coma. Her body also takes in solar energy and even requires it for some functions. She doesn't know it but her joy of tanning and laying out in the sun is actually an artificially induced tendency. She's also not mentally prepared for the truth that she's not an actual living organism. This information will devastate her for quite some time.

Projected Power Growth & Development: Over time I'd like her to be able to manipulate or energy blasts into other things (blades, whips) and manipulate her shield to protect others on occasion. Of course I'd like to see her get stronger in her power over time and this includes the artificial muscular structure. Super strength levels would take a long time but I can see myself staying here a long time before something like that could come along. I'd also like to see other powers develop. Energy manipulation being something that could develop, cybernetic speed, strength, perhaps perceptual abilities as her body evolves itself and improves upon its own design. So far I see her body as a thing that can adapt to new situations over time and improve upon the initial design given by her father. While he thought he was on the cutting edge of robotics, he was actually working to create a disposable, tough, terminator like synthetic being.

Skills: She LOVES gaming. She shops like a champ and she's a great gymnast though she's scared of the uneven bars because of her accident. She likes to draw and is actually going to school to be an artist at the local university. She has a lot of endurance and does like to run. She's generally bright, attractive, and outgoing.

Background: She had a normal childhood and she's quite well adjusted now. She used to do gymnastics as a child and young adult but recently suffered a serious fall and slipped into a coma and later died. Her father was a leading engineer in a Japanese robotics firm and distraught with her loss recreated her in his facility. He stole company resources and modified a prototype chassis to be in her likeness. Not knowing everything about the prototype he had a friend help him and was able to imprint all of her memories and mental aptitudes into the synthetic being. After all this was accomplished he activated the prototype and even staged her waking from a coma. Just after he took her home her father was found out and they attacked. To her surprise she was unharmed by their small arms fire. Her father was not so empowered and died in her arms. In grief and under massive emotional stress she unleashed her energy beams and destroyed the strike force sent to retrieve her. She also brought down the house on top of them all. She doesn't know how she pulled herself from the rubble that was her home but later found the friend of her father who helped her escape to where we are now. She changed her name, and has decided to get on with her life. She's eager to put the past behind her and continues her life as what she now thinks is a mutant.

Quirks, Extras, Random Character Facts: Her favorite anime is Claymore, her favorite car is the Nissan GTR, and she aspires to drive well enough to drift someday. She loves animation, games, and art. Her eyes kinda glow faintly when she's using her powers or even under the stress of some great emotion. She's nieve about quite a few things in the world but loves to learn. She's left handed for writing and drawing but throws ball and plays pool right handed. She's a fan of baseball and her favorite team is the Okinawa Dragon's. She thinks she's allergic to bee stings (since she used to be). She thinks of herself as a human with a few mutant abilities, and even after finding out she intends to be just your average girl who wants to put all this crazy mutant stuff behind her.
