Personality Profile: Miles is the product of constant learning. Though he doesn't speak, he's always watching and listening, trying to learn about something and/or someone. He's reserved, especially hesitant to converse with others, but can be overly loquacious once he begins.
Physical Description: Well-worn abada pants hide his legs. A loose, almost flowing long-sleeved shirt covers his torso. His feet are bare. Strips of off-white-colored cloth cover his forearm. He's fit, there's no doubt of that; he enjoys working his body, as well as his mind. His preferred method is capoeira, his favorite group the mandingeiros. His skin is well bronzed, his extensive tattooing vaguely outlined under the thin material of his shirt.

Mutation/Powers
Primary: Hyper-Intelligence - Miles learns new things at an almost alarming rate. This isn't limited to just book learning; Miles also quickly picks up and understands martial/physical training. Despite this, Miles remains eager and attentive, even as the speed of his comprehension quickly exceeds the speed of his teachers' teachings.
Secondary: Learned Omnilinguism - A sort of result of his primary ability, Miles has so far been able to read/write/pantomime each language he's been introduced to. He doesn't have a full repertoire of every language every used anywhere ever, but it takes very little for him to understand one he isn't already used to.
Tertiary: None.. yet?
Drawbacks/Weaknesses/Side Effect: Miles is unaware of the full extent of his abilities. He assumes they're the product of his relentless tutelage and training, and so hasn't bothered to explore them. He also doesn't permanently retain everything he learns, unless he keeps up with it. New knowledge seems to last for approximately a month before it's forgotten. Also, knowing how to do something, even knowing how to do it ridiculously well, doesn't mean he can do it.
How do you believe this character's powers will further develop in the future? I believe the only avenue of further evolution for Miles would be the development of Total Memory.
Background: Having been in constant schooling since he could walk, Miles has never really known a real family or home, other than the students he learned with and the beds provided by his tutors. Those he learned under passed along what he knows about himself: He was born on the Hawaiian island of Lanai, raised with Samoan beliefs. Those ways have been forgotten, his only reminder being the tattooing he bears. By the age of 9, Miles had become utterly silent. He wasn’t born mute; harsh and strict tutors gave him reason never to speak. Miles has never had wealth of any kind: All higher learning was paid for by each subsequent instructor. This has also allowed him to travel the globe many times as his education furthered, his tutors almost as various as the subject matters he learned. He comes now to Cobalt Academy, sent by an instructor who finally recognized his abilities, with an inkling that the Academy was a little more than just an academy. Miles assumes he's being sent to his first structured learning environment, as a freshmen college student.
