Personality Profile: Bright and outgoing. Vis is usually very enthusiastic about meeting and talking to people. Sometimes he can get into shy moods but it takes being caught off guard. Vis doesn't let much upset him or scare him, so sourpusses beware!
Physical Description: Skinny but fit, Vis isn't the most intimidating person in the world but even without his powers he isn't a layabout.

Mutation/Powers:
Primary : Vis can surround himself in a faint blue telekinetic aura from head to toe. This aura can be manipulated by his mind to allow for flight, limited increases in attacking/lifting strength, and can protect from damage of various sources and types. This aura can be extended to other things (hence, his clothes being protected at most times). However, they have to be in direct contact with him and the larger the alteration of the aura the more effort it would take to sustain.

Drawbacks/Weaknesses/Side Effects : Vis' aura is only as powerful as his mental strength and concentration. Using the aura to do very large scale things, (such as survive large amounts of damage, fly at increasingly fast speeds, or lift heavy objects.) is mentally exhausting and reaching his limits could easily lead to him being disoriented or passing out. His telekinetic abilities have to be focused in the aura. He has no long distance telekinetic power. The power of his aura is considerable by human standards but he would be hard pressed to lift a car and wouldn't be able to propel it any noteworthy distance, his durability with the aura has it's limits as well. He can survive damage on the level of a car crash without any exterior damage but his mental stamina would be drained by such a catastrophic encounter. Anything larger then that would be likely to have severe consequences.
How do you believe this character's powers will further develop in the future? As Vis becomes more practiced and confident the things he will be able to do and the length of time he will be able to do them for will increase a bit, but his power is unlikely to evolve any new facets or become dramatically more devastating. As he learns his limits and the applications of his power he may be increasingly effective simply by using his powers more creatively and thoughtfully.
Background: Spending most of his life as the shy boy at school, Will made few friends and spent most of his time watching TV and reading old comic books from his father's collection. As he matured he became more and more eccentric. Distancing himself from his family and the few friends he had and spending more time lost in a fantasy world with video games, movies, and comics. When his mutant powers matured his first reaction was 'well of course!' and he immediately burst out of his shell as if he had been reborn as a completely different person. An earnest and friendly fighter for justice (even though he is a bit of an oddball.) the newly christened Vis immediately abandoned his former life to figure out the shortest route to being a super hero(ine?). He heard about Cobalt Academy and decided training was the most obvious first step.
Quirks, Extras, Random Character Facts: As one might guess from the picture Vis is a cross dresser. He had always been somewhat predisposed to that sort of thing but only developed the gall to actually express it since getting his powers. Vis is absolutely enthusiastic about being a mutant (and not too broken up about just being generally weird), but is not ignorant of the plight of prejudice in any of the numerous things he could be persecuted for. He simply doesn't let fear or negativity get in the way of preparing to attempt to right the wrongs of the world!
