Personality Profile: If having to choose four words to describe Lin they would be, optimistic, bright, loving, inspiring. She has a rather positive attitude though she does try and keep her mind in a realistic state of mind and not fantasy. She is bright, average student, but has common sense, and amazing musical skills. Her heart is big and cares about all she comes in contact with, though that does tend to get her hurt occasionally. Most find her inspiring because of how positive she is when she is confined to a wheel chair.

Physical Description: Has beautiful shoulder length platinum blond hair that has spiraling curls. Her eyes are rather unique the left is ocean blue with flecks of green, and right is milk chocolate brown with flecks of amber.Her skin has a light tan to it, but not much since she usually doesn't get outside much. Her body has some curves, well toned muscles, long slender fingers, and its rare to not see a smile on her face in some form or fashion.

Mutation/Powers:

Primary : Enhanced Hearing: She has the ability to focus and hear crystal clear up to 100 yards away.She has to focus on sounds till she hears what/where she wants to hear. she gets where she She can hear inside of buildings and rooms depending on what they are made with depends on how close or how far, and if there are windows and if those windows are open. Most normal buildings, brick, cinder block, wood, siding she can hear through. The thicker the wall the harder it is for her to hear. If the building is brick and dry wall she has to be with in 10 yards to hear clearly standing outside. If the building is brick with cinder blocks she has to be with in 5 yards of the building to hear. If the building is thicker than that she has to get closer and closer till putting her ear against it. She cannot hear through something set up for a nuclear fall out nor anything sound proofed.

Secondary : Sound Manipulation: Has the ability to mess with the volume of sound and where the sound is being heard from. From where she stands she can affect sounds with in a 50ft radius. She can drop sounds almost all the way down to mute based on human hearing ability. She can bring sounds all the way up to 130db which is not as loud as a gun blast or jet engine but louder than a riveter and a rock concert. Its loud enough to where it will cause pain, ringing, and prolonged exposure can cause permanent hearing damage. Its not the loudest which is at 194db which is 14 db above where hearing tissue dies which means permanent hearing loss.

Tertiary : Vocal Manipulation: Part of this power is that she can make her voice sound like more than one person talking at the same time and only at the same time. She can do this up to three times. She can only slightly adjust the octave of the voices separate from their own. The other part of this ability is when she sings she can almost hit the lowest of low notes, and almost the highest of high notes.

Drawbacks/Weaknesses : With enhanced hearing she cannot hear through sound proofed walls, focusing to use this ability for extended amount of time causes her migraines, usual max time is an hour. With Sound manipulation she has to use hearing protection in order to use this or she will damage her own hearing and has to be careful not to use her enhanced hearing ability or cause herself more pain. Its happened once when she was practicing and got started, caused her ears to ring for a few days. With her vocal manipulation she can only multiply her voice up to three times and hold it for a few minutes before her throat hurts and gets scratchy. Worse case scenario she loses her voice for a day or so.

How do you believe this character's powers will further develop in the future? With enhanced hearing to strengthen up for her to be able to hear farther distances and softer sounds, and through thicker walls. With sound manipulation go to absolute quiet and go as loud as she can stand it with ear protection. With her voice to be able to multiply it more, to be able to separate her multiplied voices with different pitches, and to be able to hit the highest of the high and lowest of the low notes.

Background: Was born and raised in Brentwood TN to her mother Tonya, and her father Justin. Her mother works for the Nashville Symphony, she plays flute, piccolo, violin, and viola. Her father a sound board technician for a recording studio. Both of her parents are mutants. Her mother hearing, and total recall music notes and sound only, and her father hearing, sound manipulation, and picture perfect memory. So due to her parents being musically inclined they started her piano and singing lessons at a young age. Her first power manifested itself when she was 5 years old. Its hard to say when exactly or how exactly it started but she was in the backyard playing, and one minute fine the next minute her parents see her doubled over holding her ears and crying. It took a bit of time but they were able to help her control her hearing somewhat. She got better at the controlling as time went on and as she got older.
When she was 8 she was riding in a van with her friend and her friend's parents heading for Nashville to go to the Opryland mall for a bit of shopping, dinner, and a movie sort of deal. On the way there while they were on the interstate a car in front of them blows out a tire and loses control. When her friend's father tried to go around to avoid a collision with the out of control car but it changed direction last minute and slammed into the van shoving the van into the path of a extended cab truck. The collision probably felt ground shaking. The truck struck the side her friend was on and sent the van flipping somewhere around 4 times landing on its side. Witnesses up right the van (mutant help) and pull everyone from the wreckage as the engine was on fire. When everyone was free the van exploited. The movement though it saved her live did not help her problem, she was paralyzed. She was unconscious knocked out from the accident. When she woke she learned her friend's father was dead, and her friend and mother were in critical condition. She herself was not out of the clear just yet either. It was in the hospital that her next power started. Her parents, and grandparents on both sides were in the room. Her grandparents hated each other....and the yelling and blaming and finger pointing started. She had been asleep after a surgery to fix internal bleeding she had. Trying to rest their yelling had woken her. She didn't open her eyes but simply wanted them quiet....when their yelling quieted rather suddenly and then sounds of confusion she opens her eyes a bit and they were still yelling, hell they were screaming but she didn't hear it. When they stopped and looked at her sound returned to normal in the room.
Her parents worked with her on her new ability as she went through her recovery. They learned that she was paralyzed from the waist down and in such away that she still had control of bladder and bowel movements. The doctor explained that it is all about what nerves and what part of the spine gets damaged. They considered her a bit on the lucky side. She went through physical therapy and soon was home again and going to school. Her next power won't show until she is around 11 years old.
When she was 11 she was in vocal's lesson. Her range was increasing more and more and impressively so for someone her age, and then it happened....it suddenly sounded like more than one girl singing...both stopped what they were doing and her parents were called in immediately. Her parents ended up having to find a different music teacher that was able to help train her vocals with and with out using her powers. When she was 16 it got out that she was a mutant and the death threats started to poor in. For her safety her parents enrolled her to Cobalt Academy having discovered it via research and mutant protection group that was able to help with the enrollment process.
**A while after starting at Cobalt she met a staffer that worked in the medical center that was able to fix her spine. He had a special skill dealing with calcium and bone molding. He was able to repair her spine giving her the ability to walk again. It took a month of working out but now, its as if she was never handicap.
