Physical Description: Slender and well toned from a life of jujitsu and tae kwon do, Johara has a heart shaped face and fine features and thick dark hair that is usually pulled back into a tail or a braid. She has a somewhat darker complexion, almost along the lines of Middle Eastern in tone.

Mutation/Powers:
Primary : Chameleon.
Johara can alter her features to blend in with the crowd around her. At the simplest the mutation just softens her features, makes them less discernible to the memory. Currently she can also change her eye color. The feature blurring lasts indefnitely...the eyes, not so much, lasting only up to a couple of hours before she starts to experience problems such as headaches and blurred vision.
Secondary : Stealth.
She is able to come and go almost silently, masking her movements to be difficult to pick up and discern.
Tertiary : Regeneration.
At her current stage of power development, the most she can do is heal cuts and bruises within a day. More serious injuries such as broken bones can be healed at an accelerated rate, but not nearly as quickly. Simple fractures would take anywhere from 3-7 days, and more serious compound fractures a couple of weeks or more. While limb regeneration is possible, it takes quite some time and saps her body of strength, leaving her wanting to do nothing more than sleep, pretty much.
Drawbacks/Weaknesses : If she tries to alter her appearance too terribly much, beyond the scope of her capability, there is a severe physical backlash in the area she tried to alter - anything from pain to something like temporary blindness (if she tried to do too much to her eyes, for instance).
How do you believe this character's powers will further develop in the future? As her chameleon mutation progresses, she should eventually be able to change both the color and length of her hair, the tone of her skin and eventually the structure of her face and features, completely
Background: Johara grew up the only child of a father who had a case of wanderlust, something that ended the short marriage between he and Johara's mother, who left the toddler in his care when she split. An ex-Marine, her father never held down steady work very long and tended to move around the country working odd jobs and instructing martial arts, a skill he passed on to his growing daughter. He tended to treat her like a little buddy, finding it hilarious to teach her to use the various types of weaponry he knew. Thus, Johara had an unorthodox sort of upbringing and developed into something of a tomboy, becoming skilled in both tae kwon do and jujitsu, not to mention various firearms. When she started showing signs of mutations, her father thought it was -awesome- and had no problem having her show it off...which was great until they realized she was going to have to go somewhere to strengthen and refine them, putting her thoughts of following in her father's footsteps and joining some branch of the armed forces on hold. And so it is that she has arrived finally at Cobalt for further instruction and training.
