Personality Profile: She is strong, and quiet rather focused on her education. Family is very important to her and not dishonoring her parents extremely important. She feels that what she is dishonor's her family though her mother and father tell her otherwise.
Physical Description: She stands 5'11" with a strong slender body almost model esq. Her skin is a the color of dark coffee with just a tiny amount of milk mixed in that is smooth, soft, and void of blemishes. Her hair is dark brown and normally worn in braids of some type. Her eyes are a very beautiful pale amber almost honey color to them. Rather rare but it is an inherited trait that was given to her by her mother, and in her family only her and her youngest brother have that eye color.

Mutation/Powers:
Primary :Metamorph/shifter: (was cheetah now-->) African Wild dog(or African Painted Dog: She shifts into a colorful looking dog that has blotches of cream, orange, brown, black on the fur. The ears are not like other dogs but are curved and wide. Her legs slightly longer than an average dog her size would be. In this form she can run up to 40mph and maintain the speed for about an hour. She has the canine hearing, smelling, and vision in this form. In her human form her senses are slightly more acute than that of others. In her human form she may feel more comfortable around groups of people instead of alone as these types of dogs are social pack animals. Downside to this she can only shift when she has energy, other wise she is stuck in whatever form she is in. Another side effect of this change is after her first time shifting back into human her tail remains.
Secondary : Super Speed: (Was due to cheetah now just a power.): She can run up to 75mph. Max speed she can hold for 30mins and need an hour rest. How long she can go also depends on what speed she uses. For every 5 mph below her max speed add 10minutes to her time as to how long she can last. For every minute spent running, times it by two for how long she needs to rest.
Tertiary : Elemental Creation:Earth: This is a very new ability that she doesn't fully know know to control yet. She has the ability to control the ground under her feet and ground out to at least 20ft from her. She has no control of this power and most that happens is shaking of the hearth with a 20ft radius from where she is standing in all directions. Anytime the power gets triggered or used she gets a head ache. How bad of a headache depends on how long the power is used for. The shaking of the earth is not violent but enough to be felt. The power is mainly triggered by her emotions. Primarily extreme emotional mood swings going from happy to upset or pissed for example.
Drawbacks/Weaknesses : She can only shift when she has the energy to do so and her tail never leaves. If she lacks the energy she is either stuck in human form or African wild dog form. Her speed only lasts for the stated amount of time and rest is required afterward. Her earth power requires a lot of energy and regardless of how long it lasts she has headaches afterward. How bad her headaches are depend on how long her power is used for.
How do you believe this character's powers will further develop in the future? I believe she will be able to run for longer in her human form with out expending so much energy. I believe she will be able to have full control of her earth power.
Background: Murua was born in Cape Town South Africa to a mother Adiana that is a house mother, and her father Hondo that at the time held strong political ties. As time went on he became an ambassador for South Africa to various places. She has three brothers and twin sisters and she is the oldest girl at 16 but has an older brother that is 18. Oldest brother is Garai, younger brother Jacob that is 10, youngest brother Kaleb that is 5, and the twins Layla and Lerato that are 8.
Murua's powers started manifesting when she was 8 years old. When she was 8 her family took a vacation to a nature reserve for a safari. After they got the tour she had left the cabin that her and her family were staying in with her older brother. They wanted to go out exploring. They had only gotten about 100 yards from the cabin when they hear the haunting laughter of hyena's. With out missing a step her bother was taking off and running as she was frozen with fear....until she saw them. Once she saw the beasts she let out a scream and turned running. As she ran she tried picturing her favorite animal a cheetah, not just any but the king cheetah since they are the rarest of all. At first she didn't even notice it but she had shifted down into that form. Her pants didn't stay on but her torn undies, and shirt did. After shifting she was running and hit fast speeds but at the time only about 40mph but still she ended up breezing past her brother and right into the cabin him following in right after here not registering that she was...not herself. This caused at first a huge panic with the family...lot of screaming. Her father then noticed the clothes and the slightly freaked out look of a rather young appearing king cheetah. Her family put two and two together and her mother got her calmed down and helped her shift back. After that they sought out help with special clothing to fit her when she shifted but this wouldn't be really discovered till she was about 14 years old.
Her second power manifested when she was 10 years old and at soccer practice. Her and one of her friends were running laps and started to race each other. Murua felt a burst of energy and she took off and ran faster and faster and faster till hitting about 40mph starting out. The coach and others freaked out not understanding why, and she was asked to never show up again. Her parents decided then to home school her and around their home have her train to perfect her powers.
Her third power showed up when she was 15 a few months before her 16th birthday. She was practicing shifting and when she shifted back to her human form...the claws did not shift back with her...they stayed. She did freak out a bit and showed her parents. Her mother decided gloves where the way to cover that up though they didn't really have a chance to test that hypothesis out.
There was always racial tension in South Africa between whites and blacks. It didn't help that a strong majority of blacks in the country were poorly educated and yet felt that they deserved everything handed to them, nor did it help that the whites felt that they were better than others and should get everything. Each side had their ignorant bunch and hated rants. Fights and tension over the months have escalated and it is becoming dangerous to stay. Murua's father used his political ties to move his family to the USA as an ambassador. From there they learned about special schools for gifted students like Murua. From there they decided to enroll her at Cobalt Academy for her safety and for her to continue with education.
Update: Inside changes where happening with murua's x-gene. It was changing. Hard to say what exactly triggered the gene to under go a change or mutation but it happened. When this happened it caused her to feel sick, her claws to hurt, and eventually lead up to her seizure. While the seizure occurred the genetic changes took place. Her claws disappeared which was the outward signal. After her seizure finished she went unconscious signaling the major changes had finished and the lesser were almost finished. Her once feline scent changed to canine for those who have sensitive sense of smell (though to others her scent is the same.). Personality wise she will be more social and have a desire to be around others. No other damages were done to her fortunately. Also thanks to Trent and Isis for making sure nothing worse happened while she was having her seizure, and for taking her to the infirmary. After she leaves the infirmary her first shift will be to her new form, that of a African Wild Dog...which will freak her out a bit...and when she shifts back she will notice....something didn't shift away...a tail.. >.<! This will take some getting used to. Something that will also happen when she gets over emotional the ground under her will shake...and that will be something else to get used to.
Quirks/Extras (Random fun facts about your character!): Murua loves soccer, track, movies, fashion(clothing design), and modeling. Murua can also speak Afrikaans, English, and Swahili fluently and was learning french, and dutch. She is also betrothed to a child hood friend that is currently still in Africa.
