Personality Profile: Pamela Fallbrooks is the daughter and only child of multi-millionaire couple Richard and Vanessa Fallbrooks, and all her life has been her parents "precious little Princess," privileged and incredibly spoiled but still with a sweet, kind disposition. A little ditzy, not particularly good with academics, and with a tendency to ramble (especially when she gets nervous), Pamela is the sweet rich girl who would most of all like everyone to get along always -- and though she's a little vain and might be selfish or even shallow at times, ultimately she's a cheerful and compassionate girl who genuinely wants to do good.
Physical Description: Being a shapeshifter, and a somewhat vain one at that, Pamela is likely to change minor parts of her appearance to her liking, depending on her mood and situation (or to better fit the clothes she's wearing!), so it's not always easy to point down just what her natural appearance is. Most often she'll appear as a petite teenager with blonde hair and green eyes, most often fashionably dressed. (She does, however, have a strange fondness for giving herself strange skin and hair colors, her favorite skin color being bubblegum pink.) She loves skimpy outfits and never covers her midriff if she can help it.

Mutation/Powers:
Primary : As evident by her alias, "Miss Metamorph," Pamela can change her size, shape, mass and even color at will, being able to mimic just about any person or creature she wants -- as long as she knows exactly what it's supposed to look like. She operates with two types of shapechanging:
- Minor changes, which means small alterations; growing or shrinking a few inches, changing her altering her hair, eye or skin color, changing her facial features or other minor things. These changes are easiest, and she can keep them indefinitely if she so chooses (and has in fact done exactly that so many times that even she isn't sure exactly what she'd look like without her powers anymore),
- Major changes, which means growing to great heights, shrinking down to the size of a mouse, taking on non-human shapes or otherwise going very far away from her natural shape and size. These changes are much harder and more tiring, and depending on the shape and size she can keep them up from ten minutes to one hour.
Secondary : Flight -- the only "power" Pamela can actually duplicate, if she changes into a bird or grows wings.
Drawbacks/Weaknesses/Side Effects : Pamela's powers are limited by the physical -- she can't turn into non-living objects, plants or inorganic matter, nor can she duplicate other people's or creatures' mutant or supernatural abilities. She may be able to look like the greatest superheroes of all times, or take on the appearance of a fire-breathing dragon... but ask her to lift a car or breathe fire, and she won't be able to do it.
As previously mentioned, major shapechanging is tiring for her, and keeping onto a non-human or otherwise unfamiliar form will begin to strain on her powers after a short while; as a rule of thumb, the bigger the form the faster it'll tire her out and force her to revert to her natural form (though not necessarily her natural color). Major shapechanging also needs conscious effort to keep up, so if Pamela falls asleep or is struck unconscious while in a major shapechange, she'll immediately return to her form as a teenage human girl.
On a personal level, Pamela has lived a pretty sheltered life and as a result is pretty naive and gullible. She tends to think the best of everyone, whether they deserve it or not. She's also not a very effective combatant, lacking training and discipline.
How do you believe this character's powers will further develop in the future? As time passes, she'll probably learn to keep up the major changes for longer. She might also gain more control over her color-changing, to such an extent that she'll gain a chameleon-like ability to blend in with her surroundings.
Background: Born to rich parents who doted on her, Pamela Fallbrooks's story is much less tragic than those of many other mutants. Her first fourteen years were as idyllic as they could possibly be; she never wanted for anything, be it food, comfort, education or love.
When she was fourteen, her developing body began manifesting its mutant abilities in small ways, and she discovered that by concentrating she could subtly alter her appearance -- but rather than finding it a traumatic experience, the vain teenage girl viewed it as a dream come true. For weeks and months, she secretly practiced her abilities, improving her looks little by little, trying out several ways of making herself look prettier.
For almost a year, she managed to keep herself restrained enough that nobody realized just how much she was changing -- but eventually she began experimenting with larger, more absurd transformation and ended up being "outed" when she, just for fun, experimented with turning her skin blue and had one of her friends walk in on her at that particular moment.
All of a sudden, she was known as a shapechanging mutant in her school and neighborhood, and it was then Pamela Fallbrooks first discovered prejudice and how people, especially teenagers, can be cruel to those who are different. Not everyone turned on her, but she suddenly found that she had fewer friends and that several people were shunning her and labeling her a freak -- and, thanks to the nature of her powers, she was suddenly getting quite a few perverted propositions from some of the older boys. Around the school, jokers began calling her several names, of which "Miss Metamorph" was the least humiliating and insulting.
After some time with angst, insecurity and self-pity, Pamela decided that she wasn't going to let prejudices ruin her life; she was going to be proud of her abilities and her status as a mutant. She began reading up on mutants, seeking out the company of other mutants, and began flaunting her shapechanging a lot more openly than before, and even adopting the nickname "Miss Metamorph" as her own, a badge of honor as it were. This did get her into trouble a fair few times, but she was lucky and never got into a situation she couldn't get safely out of.
Her loving parents, having no idea how to deal with this new situation, at first tried dealing with it by pretending the problem didn't exist, but eventually, and after a few "unofficial" visits from people very interested in Pamela's abilities they were forced to admit that their daughter was a mutant. Determined that if they were going to have a mutant for a daughter, she was at least going to receive the best education she could, they eventually decided to send her to Cobalt Academy.
Quirks, Extras, Random Character Facts:
Pamela likes to show off and has not-so-secret ambitions of being an actor (after all, what actor could be more versatile than someone who can genuinely change her appearance with only a little concentration?). She also has a very good singing voice.
