A mysterious... curse?

Willow Quercus was admitted to the Cobalt Hill Medical Center following an unusual encounter with a young man in Salem. While the details are fuzzy to most who roam the sanctum, whispers of magic and curses can be heard, and it's rumored that the plantwoman has been quarantined. Is this for her own safety or the safety of others...?

It's now common knowledge that two more individuals, Mikhaila Boyle and Isabelle Clark, have contracted the strange illness following a rather ironic accident in studying it. All three of the afflicted individuals have been placed into a chemically induced coma to, hopefully, slow the spread while various parties scramble to find a cure.

While the details aren't known to the general public, about two weeks ago a group of individuals went on the hunt for the unnamed individual said to be responsible for the curse. It was an apparent success, with all three women waking up from their comas with no ill effects that can be seen.
