Banning of various mutant technologies.

Following a news report this evening, mutants around the country were stunned to learn of a recent development: A government ban on personal SNDs and holograph disguise devices. Mutants are encouraged to integrate with the rest of the community and this is the first step towards that goal.

Mutants without a distinct need for inhibitor devices (read: powers that are an open danger to themselves or others) must turn their SNDs in to designated META dropoff points by the end of the month or face fines and jail time. The same applies to anyone currently in possession a holowatch -- no exceptions will be made for this device, which has been deemed unnecessary and potentially risky with the possibility of use for illegal activities and identity theft.

Students, staff and residents of Cobalt Hill may turn in their SNDs and holowatches at the security booth. Anyone who feels that they require an inhibitor for any reason must first check in with the administration, who will then go through META to determine whether or not the device is necessary.

Those who ARE allowed to keep their SNDs will find that they are being given a mandatory 'MUTANT' label.
