Summer vacation's finally here at Mutie U, and everyone's ready to toss their schoolbooks and get into the lazy summer swing -- except, of course, for all the nerds who've decided to rain on our parade by taking summer classes. It's called a 'break' for a reason! Seems the administration's finally opened the pool, even though Salem weather's such a fickle mistress it's hard to tell when we can actually use it. O Mother Nature, when will thou shine upon us?

Word on the street is that our lovable Texan (No, not you, Demitrius) Addison something-or-other conjured up a dragon from the sixth level of Hell to torment teens on the quad the other night. Said dragon was seen scooping up a fair maiden and the Texan hero before taking off into the night. Is a fairytale romance a-blossomin'?

A circus is coming to Salem and everyone's excited -- except the people who aren't. An all mutant circus seems to be coming to town, folks, giving everybody an opportunity to meet and greet with mutie performers from around the world and run off to chase their life-long dreams of joining the circus! Not that I'd know anything about that, of course.

It seems like the campus is being rebuilt successfully thanks to the effort of our awesome maintenance team, and the school bake sale along with generous students donating bikes they won in a recent contest managed to rack up enough cash to cover the damage wrought by those CAMO jerks. Everyone at the Courier gives our hearts out to the people who suffered injury in the attack!
