Here is a list of questions that people ask that could easily be answered by reading the website! Seriously!

What kind of room is this?
A Marvel-ish roleplaying room.

Freeform or dice?
Freeform. We rely on people not being horrible writers and making sensible decisions regarding their characters' actions in plots and events.

How's that working out for you?
Not so well, actually.

Cool! So I can play Wolverine/Spider-Man/Every member of the Fantastic 4?!
Uh, no. Canon characters aren't allowed in play.

Oh. Well... Can I play Batman?
...again, canon characters aren't allowed. Even if they were, this is Marvel (sorta), not fucking DC.

Can I make a time traveler?
TIme travel isn't allowed, which you would know if you read the goddamn website.

What's the setting?
Salem, sort of. Fictional Salem, Massachusetts, expanded and turned into a vaguely Gothamesque city. Just outside of it is a mutant sanctuary where most of the RP takes place.

CAN I PLAY RIGHT NOW?
If you submit a character sheet RIGHT NOW.

I was thinking about making a character with amnesia who-
Don't.

I had this idea for a bio-weapon who's hunted down and-
Don't.

WHY ARE YOU SUPPRESSING MY CREATIVITY?
Ridiculously complex characters with confusing backstories are bad choices for first characters here. They almost always go wrong and bad. Also Mary Sues. Oh, GOD, Mary Sues.

All right, fine, I'll just make a regular joe, but he's a mute! Is that okay?
NO, THAT IS WRONG AND BAD.

What's the website?
GET. OUT.

Why are you such a jerk?
Because MY BALLS.
Alternative answer: There'd be a lot less headaches if you new people would read the website before asking obvious questions. Did this FAQ really help you? No?

THEN GO READ THE GODDAMN WEBSITE.

damn.
